Our Mission
The Scars Ham Radio Club has the mission to teach all those who are interested in Ham Radio Communication how to proceed to become a licensed ham radio operator and how ham radios are used in our modern community. We practice every week by participating in ham radio nets so that we can practice to be a backup type of communication resource in case of an emergency where other forms of communication are interrupted and made not available. The nets are open to any Ham Radio License holder and are held Sunday at 6:15 P.M, Tuesday at 7:P.M. and Sunday at 12 noon.
